Position Overview:

NuAIg is seeking talented AI Engineers to join our Centre of Excellence team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in generative AI, specifically in fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), using GPT APIs, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). As an AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions that improve the quality of life for aging populations globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI-driven solutions tailored to the needs of aging services and post-acute care.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI/ML solutions.
  • Work on GenAI use cases, developing innovative applications and tools that enhance the aging care experience.
  • Perform data analysis and processing to extract meaningful insights and improve model performance.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize AI models to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science to apply best practices and novel techniques to our projects.
  • Contribute to the development of AI-related documentation, including model documentation, technical reports, and user guides.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), using GPT APIs, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) use cases and the development of generative AI applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for improving the quality of life for the aging population through innovative AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare or aging services industry.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
  • Understanding of ethical considerations and biases in AI models.
  • Knowledge of Power Platforms and Power Apps is beneficial.
